What We’re Eating this Week
We are eating all the quick and easy meals that we can squeeze in between all of our evening commitments. That means easy sides and lots of grilling.
- Monday: Steak and Veggies with a side of Panera Mac & Cheese
- Tuesday: Pasta Night
- Wednesday: Grilled Chicken Fajitas
- Thursday: Shredded Beef with Potatoes
- Friday: Pizza
What I’m Reminiscing About
We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog last week and I have been reminiscing about all the good times we had with him. He was the BEST dog and we are all a little heartbroken around here.
What I’m Loving
Playing all the board games with my family. We love a good family game night around here and I’ve enjoyed the quality time with the kids. Especially on nights where we all seem to be going in different directions. If you want to see some of our favorite games, check out this post.
What We’ve Been Up To
We took a trip to Roatan, Honduras earlier in the month. We had so much fun exploring the area and relaxing on the beach. Our place had the perfect upper deck to enjoy the sunsets.

What I’m Dreading
Nothing at the moment. We are on the countdown to summer break and things are looking good around here.
What I’m Excited About
It’s Derby time here in Kentucky and I’m excited for all of the fun!
What I’m Wearing
The weather has been all over the place lately. I have been living in this romper with this sweater. It’s the perfect comfy outfit that’s just stylish enough that can wear it when I’m out and about.
What I’m Reading/Listening To
After a heavy week, I needed something to escape to that would cheer me up. I decided to try a book by a new author, Samantha Young. Much Ado About You is a romance novel set in England and it was just what I needed this week. If you’re looking something that’s light but not too fluffy, try this one out!
What I’m Doing This Weekend
I feel like a a broken record over here. We will be at a soccer tournament all weekend for my oldest. Sports are taking over our free time, but I love watching them do something they are passionate about!
What Amazon Purchase Did I Love This Month
I’m loving these air purifiers right now. We have lots of allergies in our house and need to do everything we can to keep our family from having a flare up. These are working great so far!
