Today I’m sharing my top 10 Amazon finds for travel I can’t live without. On a recent work trip, one of my colleagues was sharing how stressful travel can be once you have kids at home to worry about. Gone are the days where we could take our time packing and considering what we want to bring. We need quick and easy because now, in addition to packing, we need to also make sure that everyone back home has what they need.
I travel a couple of times a month for work. Sometimes they are quick trips where I’m only gone one night, and others I am gone for a whole week. No matter how much I plan, it always seems like I’m rushing to pack at the last minute. To make things easier and less stressful, I started keeping my top items stocked and ready to go in my bag so I can just grab it and go.

10. Medicine Organizer. I love this small medicine organizer that has small compartments for me to put my daily medications and a larger section to add some of the extra items I want to bring. It fits great in my purse or backpack and the hard shell makes it so nothing gets smashed or lost in my bag. I restock it every time I return from a trip so I know it’s ready to go for the next time.
9. Jewelry Case. When I first started traveling, I skipped the accessories because it was too much of a pain to keep track of everything. Since then, I’ve tried just about every method you can think of. The hanging organizers kept getting bent in my bag and my necklaces would constantly be tangled when I got them out. I finally found this case that I love. It has adjustable compartments and also a section for me to hang some of my necklaces so they don’t get mixed in with everything else. I add my accessories as I pack each outfit. It’s sturdy enough for me to throw in with my clothes and know that everything will stay where I want it.
8. Water Bottle. One of the most important things to remember on a trip is to stay hydrated. While I love my Stanley tumbler at home, I needed something more compact to slide in a side pocket while traveling. This bottle is great because it doesn’t leak and it fits perfectly in my bag. I wash it as soon as I get back and add it back to my bag so I know it’s there when I need it.
7. Backpack. I always keep a separate bag just for my work trips. It makes it easier to keep the necessities stored and is super easy to travel with. I’ve tried a few brands, but keep going back to this SwissGear option. The straps are comfy and it has plenty of pockets for all the things I need.
5. Cord Organizer. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that I must have two of every cord needed for my workstation. I keep one set in my travel case, so all I need to do when I go on a trip is throw it in my bag. This organizer is awesome and even has a slot for my backup charger or extra batteries.
4. Hair Towels. I love having a few comforts of home with me when I travel. These hair towels make getting ready a little easier without having to have a hotel towel wrapped around my head all morning. They help my hair dry faster and are quick to dry out so I can easily pack them away to travel home.
3. Charging Station. I saw this charging station on TikTok and had to try it. It’s AMAZING. It charges my watch, headphones, and phone at the same time and saves me having to bring three separate cords for my apple products. It folds up nicely to fit in with my other cords or slide into my purse for easy charging anywhere.
2. Portable Monitor. I have three screens in my home office and have always struggled with only my laptop screen when I travel. This portable monitor has been a life saver. It plugs into my laptop and allows me to set up a mini workspace in my hotel room.
1. Packing Cubes. These packing cubes are by far my favorite amazon find for packing and traveling. I can separate my clothes and it keeps them nicely folded and organized in my suitcase. During one trip, my suitcase busted open and a trash bag full of my packing cubes greeted me at baggage claim. Luckily, my clothes were saved because they were all nicely packed in the cubes. They are also great on those occasions where you end up with a bag that’s slightly overweight. Instead of digging through everything to remove enough to lighten the load, you can simply pull out one of the cubes and stick them in another bag. When traveling with the family, I pack assign a color of cubes to each person so we can easily find our items when unpacking. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!
I’d love to hear your favorite travel hacks/items in the comments!
Great finds! Perfect for traveling.
Thanks, Laura!
