Gift Guide for Babies and Toddlers

Today’s gift guide is all about the babies and toddlers. My kids are getting older but my favorite gifts to purchase are still for the itty bitty ones in our family. There’s something so fun about picking the fun toys that I know the little ones will love.

  1. Building Blocks Stacking Toys. These flowers are so fun and are a fun twist on the typical stacking toys. We love making different combinations and there’s enough for the whole family to play.
  2. Woodpecker Worm. As a former preschool teacher, I love anything that supports fine motor skills. This woodpecker with worms is so cute and is such a fun way to build those skills. I would say this would be better for older toddlers since the worms are on the smaller side and magnetic.
  3. Leapfrog Learning Friends 100 Words Book. Perfect book to stick in a diaper bag or have in the car.
  4. Infant Crawling Crab. This crab is so fun! It moves around objects on its own and is perfect for the little ones who are starting to crawl.
  5. KidiBeats Drum Set. My kids loved this when they were little. It makes enough noise to keep them entertained, but isn’t loud enough to make you want to hide the batteries.
  6. VTech Baby Lil’ Critters Moosical Beads. We just bought this one for our nephew. It’s easy for little hands to grab and small enough to carry around
  7. Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Baby Learning Toy Smart Stages Piggy Bank. Another family favorite at our house. Both of my kids loved putting the coins in the slot over and over.
  8. Step2 Rain Showers Splash Pond Toddler Water Table. Perfect for kids who love water play. We kept this outside during the warmer months and filled it with other things like pom poms or other sensory items inside during the winter.
  9. LEGO DUPLO Bath Time Fun: Floating Animal Island. LEGOs have always been a kid favorite. These floating animals weren’t around when mine are little. We bought these this year for family members. With minimal pieces, I’m sure it will make a great bath time activity.
  10. VTech Sit-To-Stand Learning Walker. I’m always searching for toys that will grow with the littles. This learning walker is great because it can be used when kids are sitting and it becomes a walker as they get older.
  11. VTech Smart Shots Sports Center. Such a fun basketball game that makes a noise and keeps score every time they make a basket.
  12. Fisher-Price Little People Toddler Learning Toy Caring For Animals Farm. Little People toys make a great gift. This set has lots of little interactive features and folds up for easy storage.
